15 Tons/Hour! BoReTech's PET Bottle Washing Line Officially Commissioned in Shandong Fuhai

BoReTech has recently fully commissioned a PET bottle washing line for the Fuhai Group, with a processing capacity of up to 15 tons per hour.

This newly operational line is a full-category PET bottle washing system. Leveraging BoReTech's mature core processes and system integration expertise, it enables automated, high-precision deep cleaning of post-consumer PET bottles. The resulting PET flakes meet food-grade purity standards. These high-quality food-grade recycled flakes will be used to produce high-performance functional polyester sheet and polyester bottle-grade materials, ultimately serving high-end packaging applications in the beverage, food, and pharmaceutical industries. This truly establishes a complete "bottle-to-bottle" closed-loop model: from waste PET bottle collection and recycling to regeneration and high-value reuse.

Throughout the project's construction, BoReTech and the Shandong Fuhai teams worked together efficiently and closely, successfully completing the entire process of equipment delivery, installation, commissioning, trial production, and final handover. The production supervisor at Fuhai spoke highly of the line's performance: "The equipment is reliable and runs stably. We are very satisfied."

Fuhai primarily produces high-performance functional polyester sheets and polyester bottle flakes characterized by excellent toughness, high viscosity, and high strength, with products widely used in beverage, food, and pharmaceutical packaging. The company employs globally leading polyester two-reactor polycondensation (increasing intrinsic viscosity) and direct melt-to-sheet technologies, innovatively integrating polyester synthesis, sheet production, and waste bottle flake recycling. Compared to conventional processes, once fully operational, the energy consumption for producing bottle grade virgin PET resin and sheets will be reduced by over 30% and 80%, respectively, achieving green manufacturing through energy savings, reduced consumption, and waste recycling.
