Boretech Empowers Two Major Recycled Polyester Projects in Turkey and India

2026-5-21

Boretech has recently achieved significant milestones in the global recycled polyester market, successfully completing major projects for both KIPAS in Turkey and Chiripal Group in India.

Turkey: 100 Tons/Day Recycled Polyester Staple Fiber Line for KIPAS

Boretech has built a high-tenacity and low-elongation polyester staple fiber production line for KIPAS MENSUCAT ISLETMELERI A.S. in Turkey. Using PET bottle flakes or recycled PET chips as raw materials, the single line has a designed capacity of 100 tons per day.

KIPAS, founded in 1984, is one of Turkey's leading textile manufacturers with an integrated chain covering spinning, weaving, dyeing, and apparel. With recycled raw materials, this line produces fibers rivaling virgin polyester in tenacity, elongation, thermal shrinkage, defect control, and color stability. Boretech leveraged its 35 years of PET bottle recycling expertise and 30 years of recycled polyester fiber production experience to custom-design and optimize key stages, ensuring stable operation.

India: 30,000 Tons/Year PET Bottle-to-Bottle Project for Chiripal

In early April 2026, the PET bottle-to-bottle project jointly launched by Boretech and Chiripal Group in India entered trial operation. The project includes Boretech's complete ES process washing line (30,000 tons/year capacity, 2,000 KG/hour output), food-grade pelletizing (brtCOMBIPET patented technology), and solid-state polycondensation (SSP) systems.

Boretech's ES process reduces floor space by nearly one-quarter, improves downstream pelletizing filtration performance by 25%, cuts on-line labor by one-third, and lowers energy consumption per ton by 13.3%. The washing, pelletizing, and SSP processes are directly connected to form a highly integrated production line, ensuring product quality and safety.

Chiripal Group, founded in 1972 in Ahmedabad, India, is a large conglomerate spanning textiles, packaging, renewable energy, chemicals, education, and infrastructure. As a producer of virgin chips and BOPET films, Chiripal invested in this bottle-to-bottle project to meet its customers' dual demand for both virgin and recycled PET. Boretech holds FDA Non-Objection Letters (2023 and 2025) and an EFSA positive scientific opinion (2025), making it the first Chinese full-process solution and equipment supplier with both certifications. The rPET pellets produced are suitable for direct food contact.

Boretech will continue to be guided by customer needs, helping more enterprises achieve a win-win outcome of "environmental protection" and "high quality" on the path to green transformation.
