Boretech’s ES Process Technology Supports Chengdu PET Bottle Recycling and Washing Project, Driving High-Quality Development of the Green Circular Economy

2025-12-25

Recently, a PET bottle recycling and washing project located in the Green Renewable Resources Smart Industrial Park in Xinjin District, Chengdu, has officially entered the installation and commissioning phase. This marks a critical step for the park in establishing an integrated demonstration system for "resource recycling and clean energy." The main structure of the project was completed in mid-2023, with its core objective being the production of recycled food-grade polyester bottle-grade chips. Upon full operation of the first phase, the project is expected to achieve an annual production capacity of approximately 40,000 tons, injecting new momentum into the circular economy industry in Southwest China.

As the core technology provider for the project, Boretech leverages its globally leading ES Process PET Bottle Washing Line technology to enable efficient and high-purity bottle flake recycling. This technology not only ensures that the final product meets food-grade standards but also significantly enhances resource utilization and product consistency throughout the recycling process, fully demonstrating Boretech’s technical expertise and innovative leadership in plastic recycling equipment.

The project also integrates a "photovoltaic + energy storage" smart energy system, deeply merging green manufacturing with clean energy utilization. It aims to create a modern, low-carbon, and energy-efficient model for recycled material production, further highlighting its exemplary value in environmental benefits and operational sustainability.

The smooth progress of this project is one of the key initiatives by Chengdu to promote the development of green and low-carbon industries and improve the resource recycling system. Earlier, the establishment of China Resources Recycling Group elevated resource recycling to a national strategic level, accelerating the industry’s transition toward standardization, marketization, and scalability. This project serves as a vivid example of this industry upgrade trend, reflecting the driving force of technology and the integration of industry leaders.
