From Waste Plastic to Textile Production——Huayang Textile PET Bottle Recycling System Steady Operation

Huayang Textile, belonging to Youxi Shunyuan Group, is located in the Youxi Economic Development Zone in Fujian Province. It is the first company in Youxi, Fujian, to utilize recycled PET to produce environmentally friendly polyester fibers. As part of their project to produce 100,000 tons of polyester fibers and establish an intelligent spinning facility with 100,000 spindles, they have recently introduced a standard PET bottle recycling line from BoReTech. The total investment for this project amounts to 688 million yuan.

Huayang Textile Technology is the first company in Fujian Province to produce recycled environmentally friendly polyester fibers. The project involves the process of recycling and washing waste PET bottles to obtain recycled PET flakes, which are then used to produce regenerated fibers and polyester yarn. This initiative fills the gap in Youxi's textile industry for the production of recycled and environmentally friendly polyester fibers, further improving the recycling and utilization rates of resources in the textile industry.

The PET bottle washing system provided by BoReTech has  designed annual capacity capacity to process 35,000 tons of post-consumer beverage bottles. It is primarily used for the production of polyester fibers and spinning within their own factory. This means that they crush and wash the waste PET bottles to produce recycled polyester staple fibers, which are then spun into environmentally friendly regenerated yarn. This completes the entire industry chain from waste plastic to textile production, upgrading the value chain from the lower end to the higher end. This process falls under the category of "recycling of waste resources" and brings about significant environmental benefits.

The local government strongly supports the development of the textile industry in Youxi County, and this project has received high attention. BoReTech has provided comprehensive services, from planning and design to installation, commissioning, and trial operation of the entire production line. Currently, the production line is running perfectly.

The company's management mentioned that the PET bottle washing equipment provided by BoReTech had exceeded their expectations in terms of capacity. The recycled PET flakes produced not only meet the requirements for their own polyester fiber production but also meet the quality standards of sheet manufacturers.

With the support of the BoReTech PET bottle recycling line, it has successfully established a complete industry chain for the recycling and utilization of waste resources. Through this initiative, they have not only improved the environmental benefits but also enhanced the value chain of their products, contributing to the sustainable development of the textile industry in Youxi County, Fujian Province.
