The BUMI INDUS Project in Indonesia is Running Smoothly

BoReTech has recently successfully built a PET bottle washing system for a company jointly established by one of the top three beverage manufacturers in Indonesia and private shareholders, with an input capacity of 3000kg/h for food-grade rPET pellets. The project produces 18,000 tons of food-grade rPET pellets per year, with premium quality and a wide range of downstream applications. The goal of the project is to produce PET pellets that meet food-grade standards so as to meet market demand. As is known to all, in response to the mandatory policy introduced by the Indonesian government, all companies are required to use at least 50% recycled plastics by 2028.

The company is a food-grade recycled PET manufacturer whose factory is located in Zhongbang, East Java, Indonesia. It covers an area of 20,000 square meters and is dedicated to the recycling of waste plastics. The PET bottle recycling equipment provided by BoReTech is expected to recycle 2 billion PET plastic bottles annually to help reduce land and marine pollution.

The customer has known BoReTech and highly recognized BoReTech's plastic recycling expertise since the early years. Relying on the advantages of R&D and years of production experience, BoReTech provided customers with customized washing processes and solutions in combination with local actual conditions. The project used the latest generation of label-scrapping and washing integrated technology to improve production efficiency by reducing energy consumption. In addition, a new Zig Zag Separator System was designed for customers to better remove tiny PVC labels, even those undetectable by human eyes. Due to the limitation of the customer's site area, it was necessary to arrange two complete PET bottle recycling production lines in its limited space. Meanwhile, it was necessary to consider the convenience of the customer's follow-up production and plan the optimal production environment. Therefore, after several adjustments to the layout plan, the customer's expectation was finally met, the production of the customer was facilitated and the customer's recognition was well obtained.

The project completed the commissioning in March 2023, and has been officially started and running smoothly. For customers, the use of Asia's PET bottle washing line can achieve the production of food-grade rPET pellets, greatly reducing its production costs. The high-quality RPET produced by customers can be used in various industries including food-grade packaging, textiles and other high-end applications, and it also enhances the brand awareness of BoReTech in the field of Bottle- to -Bottle projects. All in all, this successful case proves the value of BoReTech as a reliable partner, and also promotes the development of circular economy.
